*Going to Selous, Africa's biggest Game Reserve*	*The road is terrible, especially after some rain*

*Local bus gets stuck in the mud*	*Villages on the way*

*After many hours we arrive at the camp*	*The camp is superb - very comfortable and looks fantastic*

*Buildings are very "authentic" and "in key" with the nature*	*Look at this restaurant/bar - who wouldn't like to visit*

*Entrance to the Game Reserve*	*Beautiful landscape inside the Reserve*

*Animals & Birds everywhere - especially at the lakes*	*Some interesting inhabitants of the lakes*


*Nile Crocodile*	*A solitary male makes a mock attack*	*They can look so peaceful*

*Majestic Impala*	*Impressive Giraffes*	*And cheeky Yellow Baboons*


*Waterbuck*	*Kudu (getting her ear cleaned)*

*Warthog*	*And Forest Elephants*

Well, it had to happen - we're stuck where the lion population is densest in all of the world	*Happiness when Landcruiser is free again*


*We find the lions before they find us :-)*	*Relaxed male*	*An evenly relaxed juvenile*


Lunch time in the Reserve - an uneasy feeling sitting outside with crocs lurking in the margins	*But nevertheless we enjoy*

There were so many birds - I will only show a few of my images - Here a Malachite Kingfisher with a Lizard in its beak	*African Openbill Stork*

*Flock of Hadada Ibis*	*Striated Heron*

*Stilts*	*Lilac-breasted Roller*

*Guineafowl*	*African Fish Eagle*

*African Grey Hornbill*	*And African Spoonbill, searching for food*
