Welcome to Tanzania We were picked up by Søren's friends: Hans & Merethe Long and tiresome trip to Kilwa
But the reward is obvious - what a place ! Even a bar - Bamboo Bar Lucky me
Going fishing the next 4 days Very comfortable Catamaran Boat Gordon & Peter letting out the baits
Less than 20 minutes of trolling and we're in Dolphinfish What a fighter
First Dolphinfish being landed Gordon with Dolphinfish Johnny with Dolphinfish
 
Big groups of Spotted Dolphin follow us daily Right in front of the boat and close enough to touch Even Humpback Whales make an appearance
     
Gordon & Søren relaxing While Danish Ambassador, Bjarne, does the hard work A 5 kg Wahoo for Bjarne
     
Another Wahoo bites the dust Gordon is the lucky angler 8½ kg Wahoo
     
Gordon is speed-jigging, and hooks a Sailfish 5 jumps later it comes off the hook  Gordon is shattered
     
Next Sailfish is attacking the baits - Peter strikes I get to fight and land this one 20 kg Sailfish being revived
Gordon popping away But the Giant Trevallies we got trolling GT for Søren aswell
The reef is alive Here a school of Bluefin Trevally Johnny with Bluefin Trevally
Ever-present Great Barracuda And also a Pickhandle Barracuda Enough fishing for this time

Our meals were to die for - here Mahi Mahi Mud Crab  Spiny Lobster
 
Peter & Gladys arranged a dance show for us Great fun Gladys sorting out our flight for the next day
Kilwa Airport - Waddayasay? Cessna Caravan to Dar es Salaam We finish our trip with Gin & Tonic prepared by
Bjarne, the Danish Ambassador, and a grand meal
of Sushi in Dar es Salaam.
