Fishing U.S.A.
Ah, back at my favorite harbour.
Thorke & Lars-Göran fishing.
Lars-Göran quickly gets into the "Keys-mode" -
cold drinks and fishing !
Fishing in the harbour reveals some interesting
fish species - here a Flying Gurnard,
Barracuda, and several species of Snappers. Also heavier boys roam the harbour,
Such as this Nurse Shark, which Thorke caught. Close up of Nurse Shark eye. We even had Mr. Manatee visit us.
This time we finally got the chance to fish
on the outskirts of the Everglades.
Fishing for baitfish, was time well spent.
Number 1 bait: Pinfish.
Whilst bait-fishing I caught a Ladyfish on jig,
and Thorke caught a Speckled Trout. At the Everglades the Pinfish are put to good use. Snook love the Pinfish, and Snook fight damned well!
Pinfish gone. Thorke with a beautiful Snook. Johnny with a substantial Snook.
The bait-snatching Topsail Sea Catfish. Several times, we had big shark and rays on the hook. Here a Bull Shark by the boat.
Days out with George Woods proved exciting. Foremost, George is a sublime Bonefish guide. But we also caught Snappers and Permit.
And, of course, the much treasured Tarpon. Handling a big Tarpon. Lars-Göran & George with a 60 lbs Tarpon.
Evening fishing with Dave Plummer, and big Tarpon is his specialty. Here Thorke with 180 lbs. Sřren with 140 lbs.
