Fishing Faroe Islands
Welcome back to Faroe Islands -
we were invited to stay at 62N Airport Hotel
We fished 3 days out from Sørvágur with skipper Conrad.
Pierre locked on to a heavy cod. We caught lots and lots of cod + other codfish species: Pierre with Whiting.
Allan with Haddock. Niels with Great Sandeel. And Johnny with 20 lbs Pollock.
With Magni we primarily trolled and drifted
for Porbeagle Shark and Halibut.
We also had fun with flounders - here a good bunch of big Dab.
For Halibut we mainly used Sandeel for bait, but the biggest halibut was lured by a big jig: Martin Jørgensen with 25 kg Halibut -
caught on Prologic Cutbait.
Back at the hotel we were allowed to use the kitchen.
Jesper & Allan never tired cleaning fish...

Pierre's table laid out - yummie ! Cod, Ling, Whiting, Pollock, you name it... ...

Deepfried Dab & fried Sandeel. Sashimi Ling, Whiting & Haddock. All topped up with wonderful Faroese beer.
